Arlington to Arizona
First Post

Everyone starts somewhere.  I am on my way to the Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona, in September 2011.  I hope to find work as a seasonal or temporary law enforcement park ranger after completing the 11-week Park Ranger Training Program at NAU.  Meantime, I’ve been working on other things— working with a personal training three times a week at the gym, practicing at the range once a week with a private instructor and volunteering on the Bike Patrol at the C&O Canal National Historic Park.  Since January 2011, I’ve become an EMT Basic, I’ve gone to Basic Search & Rescue Class at Hanging Rock State Park in North Carolina, I’ve become a Wilderness First Responder, and I’ve taken Introduction to Wildland Firefighting at Colorado Firecamp.  On the docket is Technical Rope Rescue in Upper Bucks County in July.  I likewise hope to get my feet wet with a bit of jiu-jitsu soon.  Some many things to do.  So many things to say.
